The "one thing at a time" approach is so underrated. We're sold the dramatic overhaul when really it's the boring, consistent stuff that compounds!!

Exactly. Implementing 20 different things won't get you anywhere if you give up by week 2 because you're exhausted.

Eating before training changed SO much for me!! Especially in the morning, when it was always a difficult time for me to exercise, I realized that I was starving so I couldn't focus on the exercise itself. It changed when I started to eat before, even if it's only a banana. Sleep also makes a huge difference for me if I'm not sleeping well, it seems like everything else is out of control. Loved your tips!!

Same here. My brain doesn't function well when I'm hungry, and working out feels almost impossible. 😄

It’s amazing how the little changes made consistently can make such a huge difference both in health and life!

These are all solid tips. For me personally, "packing my bag the night before" has been a big one -- in combination with changing into my gym clothes before I leave work. Otherwise, even if I've been toting around my workout bag all day, it's still a mental fight to make myself go to the gym instead of straight home. The whole "removing friction works better than relying on willpower" thing is so true. Funny how the brain works!

I'm glad the article resonated with you. To be honest, I live in gym clothes, because when I can't train first thing in the morning, being already dressed makes it way more likely I'll actually go.

Listened to a podcast today with Dr.Stacy Sims and she talked a lot about how important it is for women to eat in the morning especially before a workout! You might enjoy her work ❤️
