This was great to read. When I was younger, I was someone who enjoyed a lot of different sports and acitivities, but now that I'm older with a full-time job, it's so exhausting and difficult to exercise three times a week for over an hour. I'm constantly exhausted for a multitude of reasons. I want to get back into moving regularly, but the fitness side of social media makes it – exactly how you put it – another full-time job. Great article!
thank you for reading, zoe! i'm really glad the article resonated with you. i understand that feeling, it's hard for most of us to find the motivation to exercise after a demanding day at work. when i had a 9 to 5 a few years ago, managing everything and still making it to the gym felt impossible. the advice i always give my clients is to do what they can right now. if that's one session a week, let it be one session a week. when things get more flexible, you can start adding training days.
I love the accessibility of your perspective. We've become to trapped in brands that it can be easy to feel as though one size fits all and practically, it's not true.

thank you! definitely, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but unfortunately, that’s exactly what influencers and brands want us to believe.
love this piece!! 🙌🏻 the RED-S part never makes it into fitness content
thank you for reading 🩷 i agree, RED-S is rarely mentioned in fitness content, even though a lot of fitness creators have experienced it themselves.
This is such a great, really important article!!
